When using the Exide Batmobile service, additional information is collected. This information assists in the doorstep service and online payment, without which the service cannot be rendered. The system also helps store information about your order as a historical data and to help you remember and provide service in future. Exide does not store any of your credit card/debit card/UPI Payment/other electronic payment mode details. INTERNALLY Exide may share statistics and personal information within its group of Companies including its subsidiaries, affiliates, joint venture partners

3WI-FI NETWORK INFORMATION:

To connect your Exide Battery to our Services, or to access your Battery details over the Internet from a smartphone or a tablet, you will need to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. During setup, the Battery Management Unit (BMU) will ask for your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password to connect to the Internet. It will save this information on the device, along with your IP address, so that you can access it and control it from your smartphone or tablet, and so that it can communicate with Exide servers and download software updates.

Once connected to your Wi-Fi network, your Exide battery regularly sends the data described in this Privacy Statement (excluding your Wi-Fi password) to:

• Bluetooth data: Bluetooth-enabled Exide Products (such as Inva Tubular 2.0) may broadcast an identifying signal wirelessly. This is used to connect with your Bluetooth-enabled devices (such as a smartphone or tablet) in order to deliver features like setup or App based battery monitoring.
• Mobile location data: You may connect Exide Products over Bluetooth through device pairing. If you do this, you'll be asked for permission to share location data from your mobile device. If you grant this permission, the Exide app uses standard location services built into iOS and Android.

Wherever Exide collects personal information about you from someone else, Exide will take reasonable steps to advise you.

To get benefits of the Warranty, your Personal Information are required to be given to at the time of logging in. You hereby provide the Personal Information voluntarily to Exide Industries Limited. In case you do not wish to avail paperless warranty and do not want to share your Personal Information please contact your authorised Dealer and please keep your original Invoice intact and handy.

Exide Industries Limited may share your personal information to Third Party Agency (in connection with The Digital Personal Data Protection Act) only for the purpose of the Warranty availed by you.

By signing/clicking on "Register" you hereby authorise and provide express consent to Exide Industries Limited to use and process your Personal Information in connection with this Warranty.

You shall have the right to stop Exide Industries Limited from using your Personal Information, by writing to EIL on GrievanceOfficer@exide.co.in.
