Once our technician reaches your car breakdown spot, he will check the issue with your car battery and may even try to solve it by trying the JumpStart process to bring your car battery back to life.
The JumpStart is usually done with Jumper cables. Before one tries to jumpstart a car, its best to ensure that the location of the car is in a well-ventilated and spacious area. JumpStart is done with the assistance of another running car which is brought face to face with the car which has broken down.
The ignition of both the cars is shut off and the cars are allowed to cool first. It is recommended that all car accessories are turned off. The red or positive jumper cable clamp is connected with the dead batteries positive port (+) the other part of the red cable is connected to the positive (+) port of the good battery of the other car.
Next the black clamp of the jumper cable is connected to the negative post of the dead battery and the other part to any metal surface of the engine of the dead car.
Once all cables are set it is ensured that the jumper cables do not touch any other part of the car engine. Then the working car is started and the engine is left to run for a few minutes without the car moving. Thereafter, the jumper cables are disconnected and an attempt is made to restart the dead car again. If the car still fails to start, there might be some other issue, or your car battery might need a replacement.
